The brother of Ajax winger Antony has described reports suggesting he's held talks with Manchester United as 'fake news'.
United are understood to be interested in signing the Brazilian ace this summer. Manager Erik ten Hag is to be keen on adding to his wide options and Antony, his former player at Ajax, is among his targets.
The 22-year-old joined the Dutch club from Sau Paulo in 2020 and has since gone from strength to strength, becoming one of the most eye-catching winger's in Europe. He scored 12 goals and grabbed 10 assists in 33 appearances for Ajax during the 2021/22 campaign.

So it's obvious why United are keen on luring the Brazilian to Old Trafford this summer. Ten Hag is a big fan of the winger and is open to being reunited with him in M16, with it claimed that 'internal discussions' have been held.
However, the player's brother Emerson Santos has denied holding talks with United. Santos is Antony's brother, not his agent, and he has quickly labelled the ongoing reports as 'fake news'.
Santos had been quoted as saying: "Manchester United is pushing very hard to get Antony in these hours. They're so determined and Antony wants this move to happen for his career."
It remains to be seen whether United can do a deal for the young wideman.
