Fake father scam exposes deeper rot

From illegal migration to unregistered labour, crimes involving foreigners have now taken a new form, known as the fake father or "Por Thip" scam, meaning "bogus dad" in the local language. This latest form of citizenship fraud involves transnational networks allegedly assisted by state officials.
