Fairleigh Dickinson's men's basketball team emerged victorious in an intense game against Long Island University, with a final score of 84-82 in overtime. The Knights' triumph did not come without a unique and unexpected challenge prior to the game.
As the Fairleigh Dickinson players made their way from the locker room to the court at Steinberg Wellness Center in Brooklyn, they found themselves trapped in an elevator. It was the New York City firefighters who came to their rescue, ensuring the team made it to the game safely.
