Facundo Pellistri's agent has warned Manchester United that his client needs to be playing regular football after opening up on the winger's future.
Pellistri has had a frustrating time at Old Trafford since moving from Penarol in 2020. The 21-year-old has had two loan spells at Alaves in La Liga and suffered mixed fortunes while in Spain.
However, this did not stop Uruguay naming the United man in their Qatar World Cup squad. Pellistri featured in all three matches but failed to make an impact as his nation exited the tournament at the group stages.

Upon his return to Manchester, after more than two years of waiting, the winger finally made his professional debut for the Reds. Pellistri came on as a substitute in United's 3-0 victory over Charlton Athletic in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals, providing an assist for Marcus Rashford in the process.
But, according to his agent Edgardo Lasalvia, Pellistri's game time is still insufficient. In an interview with Uruguayan media outlet Sport 890, Lasalvia explained how he sees his client's career progressing from here onwards.
He explained: "It's clear to us that Manchester United want Facu Pellistri to stay at the club, one of the greatest in the world. However, we need him to play. There are many options in Europe for him."
Lasalvia was unclear as to which European teams are interested in the 21-year-old but Watford manager Slaven Bilic told the media recently that he was interested in exploring a loan opportunity for Pellistri in the January transfer window.
United have had plenty of success loaning players out to Championship clubs under Erik ten Hag. Amad, Hannibal Mejbri and Ethan Laird are all excelling at Sunderland, Birmingham City and QPR respectively.
