Sir Keir Starmer has announced a deal worth up to £1.6bn to supply more than 5,000 air-defence missiles to Ukraine using export finance.

It has reportedly been signed by the UK, news of which comes after US President Donald Trump made further claims about the amount the US spends on supporting the Ukrainian war effort last week.
