Fact check: False message on Coronavirus being a bacteria which can be treated with aspirin circulated on social media; here's the truth

Aspirin is not a cure for COVID-19 as the virus can't be treated with anticoagulants, government fact check agency, PIB Fact Check said in a tweet on Monday. The government's response came in view of a fake message which is being circulated on WhatsApp.

The fake message claims that an autopsy report from Singapore has revealed that COVID-19 is not a virus but a bacteria. The message reads, COVID is a "bacterium that has been exposed to radiation and causes human death by coagulation in the blood."
