$725 Million Facebook Settlement Payments Have Finally Begun: Are You Getting a Check?

After a lengthy appeals process, the $725 million Facebook settlement connected to the Cambridge Analytica data privacy scandal is finally moving forward to the payment distribution stage.

The ongoing legal wrangling delayed settlement payouts to affected Facebook users by many months, according to the official settlement website. But on August 27, the Court ordered Facebook to distribute settlement payments within the next 10 weeks.
