Fabrizio Romano confirms Nottingham Forest face Inter Milan transfer battle

Nottingham Forest Forest Inter Milan Carlos Augusto Che Adams Monza UEFA Champions League

Nottingham Forest face some heavyweight competition if they decide to go ahead with an offer for Monza left-back Carlos Augusto.

That’s according to transfer expert Farbrizio Romano who says Champions League finalists Inter Milan are keen on the defender and have made him a ‘concrete option’ on their list.

The 24 year old Brazilian could be available for £8m for Forest who, according the Daily Mail, have held discussions with Monza about him. The situation is further complicated by the fact his club want to keep him and have opened contract talks, but Inter’s involvement could overshadow all that.
