July should really see things start to ramp up in the transfer market with the new Premier League season now just one month away. Tottenham have been extremely busy in the summer window so far with Fraser Forster, Ivan Perisic, Yves Bissouma and Richarlison all signing on the dotted line in N17.
It has been a different story in terms of outgoings, however. Announcing in June that 12 youngsters would be departing at the end of their contracts and that Pierluigi Gollini would be returning to Atalanta after his loan spell, last month also saw Cameron Carter-Vickers seal a permanent move to Celtic.
Steven Bergwijn is about to be the next player to exit Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with the club finally agreeing on a €32.5million (£27.8m) fee with Ajax for his services. Antonio Conte's squad does need a refresh ahead of the new season and a few more transfers could be on the cards before the big kick-off against Southampton on Saturday, August 6.

So which other deals does Fabio Paratici need to finalise for Conte in the coming weeks? football.london takes a look.
Sergio Reguilon
Perisic's arrival at the club could possibly see Sergio Reguilon leave after two years in the capital. Paratici and Conte must now decide on whether to move the Spaniard on or not as his playing time looks set to be cut with the Croat and Ryan Sessegnon now appearing to be ahead of him in the pecking order.
Harry Winks
Harry Winks is another player who has fallen down the pecking order due to the club's summer transfer activity. An exit from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium does look set to come to fruition as he needs to be playing regularly for the sake of his career after spending so much time on the bench over the past two seasons.
Bryan Gil
Bryan Gil is now back at Hotspur Way after his January loan move but it's not clear yet if he will be sticking about. Conte wants players in his squad who are ready for the demands of Premier League football week in, week out and that leaves him with a decision to make over the Spaniard. The head coach will take a close look at the talented winger over the coming weeks in pre-season before making a final call.
Emerson Royal
Emerson Royal's stay in the capital may only be a brief one with the player heavily linked with a return to La Liga. The Brazilian international has struggled in Conte's system as he is a full-back rather than a wing-back but he did deliver some good performances towards the end of last season.
A summer move for Djed Spence will limit his playing time and subsequently push him towards the exit door. However, Spurs will not want to sell him on the cheap and they will be looking to recoup near enough the £25.7million they paid Barcelona last August.
Joe Rodon
The 2021/22 campaign was an extremely frustrating one for Joe Rodon after only three Premier League appearances for the club. The Welshman has really impressed Conte with his attitude on the training pitch but that has unfortunately not translated into regular playing time.
Rodon needs to be playing football to aid his development and also put him in the best possible position for the 2022 World Cup. Spurs just need to decide if he departs on loan or permanently.
Giovani Lo Celso
Tottenham shouldn't be short on offers for Giovani Lo Celso this summer after such a successful loan spell at Villarreal. As is the case with Rodon, the midfielder needs to be playing on a consistent basis ahead of the World Cup. The Argentina international's January loan exit shows that he's not in Conte's plans and it's best for both parties that they go their separate ways.
Tanguy Ndombele
While Lo Celso did recapture his best form at Villarreal, unfortunately the same cannot be said about Tanguy Ndombele after such an underwhelming time back at Lyon. His struggles in Ligue 1 now hand Paratici and Co. a transfer dilemma as clubs aren't going to be queuing up at the door trying to sign him permanently. Spurs will make a huge loss on the Frenchman if he leaves for good, although another loan move may be on the cards if they cannot sell him.
Jack Clarke
Jack Clarke's Tottenham career has never got going and he has now entered such a crucial period as he only has one year left on his contract. Given the success of his loan spell at Sunderland, Spurs must determine if offering him a new deal and sending him out on loan to increase his value is the best option or they cash in on him before the summer transfer deadline.
Pape Matar Sarr
Pape Matar Sarr now has the chance to show why Paratici lured him to north London as he has linked up with his new teammates one year after his move from Metz. The Senegal international has a number of players to contend with in midfield and it may be more beneficial to him to spend another year out on loan.
Harvey White
It was a surprise to see Harvey White not head out on loan last summer after finishing the previous campaign with Portsmouth. While a year at Spurs will have been incredibly good for him due to playing alongside quality players every day and making the first-team squad on a number of occasions, the midfielder needs that experience of playing first-team football on a weekly basis.
Troy Parrott
Troy Parrott is now back at Hotspur Way putting in the hard work ahead of the new campaign after a tremendous time on loan in League One with MK Dons. The next step for Parrott needs to be a Championship loan spell before he returns next summer and competes for a spot in the Tottenham squad.
Dane Scarlett
football.london reported back in May that the plan is to loan out Dane Scarlett this coming season so he can get the minutes he needs to help his development. Clubs will be queuing up to sign the talented frontman but it's about Tottenham picking the right club and division for the 18-year-old as that hasn't always been the case with their loan players.
Alfie Devine
A loan move could also be in the pipeline for Alfie Devine as football.london also reported in May that Spurs will now consider loan moves for him for 2022/23 so they do not hold back his progress, with the player also believed to be pushing for a loan spell to build on his development. Again, the midfielder will have plenty of suitors but it's about selecting the right club.
