Fabio Carvalho 'buy back' claim made as Liverpool consider transfer options

Fabio Carvalho Liverpool RB Leipzig Alexis Mac Allister Leipzig Jurgen Klopp

RB Leipzig reportedly had a bid of just over £10 million rejected by Liverpool for young star Fabio Carvalho and the Bundesliga club are said to remain interested in the midfielder.

Liverpool pushed hard to sign Carvalho in January 2022, but had to wait for a deal to be struck in the following summer after missing the transfer deadline.

Despite a promising start to life at Anfield, the Portugal Under-21 international played just 11 minutes in the Premier League after football returned following the end of the World Cup in December.
