Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has reported Matt O'Riley suitors Atalanta have agreed personal terms with another player as they seek to replace Teun Koopmeiners.
Last night, Italian outlets outlined Lazar Samardzic as a possible O'Riley alternative for the Serie A side – and now Romano says Atalanta and the Serbian midfielder's agent have agreed personal terms in a situation similar to Celtic and O'Riley's.
"Atalanta met with Lazar Samardzić’s agent today, agreement close on personal terms," Romano said. "Negotiations also between Atalanta and Udinese have started as Samardzić could be key target after €52m plus €7m add-ons bid from Juventus for Koopmeiners."

Atalanta have already had five bids rejected by Celtic so far for O'Riley, with the Italian club said to have failed to have met the club's asking price for the 23-year-old midfielder.
With two weeks of the summer transfer window remaining, there is of course still time for Atalanta – or indeed other clubs – to bid higher for O'Riley.
In the meantime, Celtic have been linked with potential replacements should O'Riley decide to leave Parkhead – one in the form of Arne Engels, and the other in the shape of Swiss starlet Alvyn Sanches.
