Charles Leclerc and Sergio Perez occupied the top of the timesheets in Friday practice for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix as the Mexican continued to insert himself into the title fight.
Perez’s Red Bull led first practice by just over a tenth ahead of Leclerc to back-up his victory in Monaco a fortnight ago, which came at the expense of the furious Ferrari driver after a series of errors from his team.
