F1 Belgian Grand Prix live stream 2024 — how to watch race highlights and full replay, results

A general view of the start of the race as cars make their way up Eau Rouge during the F1 Belgium Grand Prix at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps .

With the season break looming after Sunday's Belgian Grand Prix, there was the prospect of a very different looking Drivers' Championship leaderboard when all was said and done at Spa.

Max Verstappen may have still been more than 70 points to the good as he hunts a fourth consecutive world championship, but things certainly aren't all going his way. He was three straight races without a G.P. win, and — thanks to a breach of the engine rules — he started the race from 11th on the grid. That's despite going fastest in qualifying.

He'll have been somewhat comforted, at least, that teammate Sergio Perez took as the time to finally rediscover his speed. He started up front in P2, and he'll be making himself as big as possible to try and give Verstappen the chance of making up ground.

The Ferrari of Charles Leclerc started from his second pole of the season, with the Brits of Lewis Hamilton and Lando Norris immediately behind. Then it was Oscar Piastri and George Russell.

The 2024 Belgian Grand Prix takes place over 44 laps of the 7.004-kilometre Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps on Sunday, July 28.

A hit with drivers and fans alike, the Grand Prix weekend at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, as Spa is officially called, is a bucket list item for any petrolhead. It combines rolling hills with huge high-speed straights that have left many an F1 engine smouldering.

Having hosted a (non-championship) Grand Prix as long ago as 1924, Spa is one of the oldest races on the F1 calendar. It's an unashamedly 'old school' track that looks picturesque to those watching on TV — but it can be deadly for drivers and cars.

The mix of challenging straights and whip-fast corners suits drivers at the peak of their powers. Keep an eye on the Eau Rouge, the thrilling sequence of bends that sees the drivers flick left, right and then up the hill through Raidillon.

The Belgian Grand Prix starts at 3 p.m. local time. The weather is notoriously difficult to predict, and the circuit is so long that it's not unusual for one corner to be bone dry while another is soaking wet, causing the pit wall all kinds of headaches.

Belgian Grand Prix FAQ

So, that's how to watch the Belgian Grand Prix and all the race timings sorted. Now here's an F1 Belgian GP FAQ for everything else you want to know about the upcoming race.

What are the odds and predictions for the 2024 Belgian GP?

For the first time this season, Max Verstappen isn't the bookies' favorite heading into Sunday's race. That said, even though he's starting from 11th, he's still second fave at 7/4.

Lando Norris is favorite at 15/8, with last weekend's winner Oscar Piastri at 6/1. A resurgent Sergio Perez is 13/2, Lewis Hamilton 9/1 and pole sitter only at 11/1.

What will the weather be like at the 2024 Belgium Grand Prix?

The weather in eastern Belgium today (Saturday) is utterly shocking, with P3 and qualifying bedevilled by heavy rain. Fingers crossed, that will pass by the time we get to the race on Sunday, with the forecast showing a dry, cloudy day.

When is the next race?

The 2024 Dutch Grand Prix follows the Belgian GP on August 25, 2024.

Who won the 2023 Belgian Grand Prix?
