Formula One heads to Baku this weekend for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
Sergio Perez is the man in form in the Red Bull after securing a frantic victory around Monaco a fortnight ago at the expense of Charles Leclerc.
The Ferrari man lagged home in fourth after a series of errors from his team, although he bounced back on Saturday to secure pole position for today’s race. Max Verstappen commands a nine-point lead atop the Drivers’ Championship going into the race with Perez now fully in the title fight, just behind Leclerc.
George Russell and Lewis Hamilton in the Mercedes will also hope to have a better weekend of it after they experienced fresh setbacks in their attempt to gain ground on the frontrunners last time out. They start fifth and seventh, respectively.
