Moninder Singh, a resident of Sector 150, said he was summoned to the Knowledge Park police station earlier this week and asked to stay away from the media for a few days until the case “settled down.” Singh had earlier told the media that he jumped into a water-filled pit after learning that Mehta had fallen into it.
“I was called to the police station, and they forcefully recorded another video of me after giving me a script,” Singh alleged. He claimed that he was made to sit in a park near the police station for more than four hours while police officials spoke to him.
