An “extremely violent” murder squad armed with “military grade weaponry” were behind the attempted hit on three Irishmen last year which included a pal of Dublin gang boss Mr Flashy, Spanish police have established.
Flashy’s associate was injured in the incident in Spain on September 20 but sources said that the reactions of the trio saved their lives. The Irishmen were fishing in Turtle Lake outside Marbella when the six man hit team arrived to kill them.
The injured man, who is from Finglas and is aged in his mid-20s, was shot once in the side and made his own way to hospital but he refused to cooperate with the police. However, Dublin Live can reveal that investigations revealed the identities of the hit team - all British nationals - who were arrested and are now in custody.
