Cafes urged to close on Anzac Day long weekend holiday

Restaurants and cafes could close their doors on public holidays to compensate for Anzac Day falling on a weekend for the next two years.

Premier Chris Minns has announced NSW will have an extra public holiday in 2026 and 2027, when Anzac Day falls on Saturday and Sunday.
