VISAKHAPATNAM: The Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board (APPCB) in partnership with International Centre for Sustainable Carbon (a technology collaboration arm under International Energy Agency), UK and the Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW, Delhi) has organized a workshop on Advanced Level Training-Best Practices and Handling of Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) in Vizag city on Tuesday.
Participating as chief guest for the international workshop, Chairman of Visakhapatnam Port Authority, K Rama Mohana Rao briefly explained the connection of the importance of CEMS with nature. He explained about the interdependence of human beings with nature and the need for protection and preservation of the environment. He also emphasized the importance of CEMS in regulatory compliance and requested the participants to learn from the workshop and implement the best practices for improving the environment.
