Summer is around the corner and this is the time when thousands of ants plague UK homes and gardens. The insects cause a nuisance that most Brits are way too familiar with, from ants crawling along kitchen tops, to colonies invading your gardens.
These infestations can be hard to get rid of, you may opt to use traps, powders and sprays but sometimes it's not enough to banish the bugs. As it’s that time of year again, pest controllers have shared the best methods to get rid of the bugs and keep your homes free from ants, reports The Mirror.
Jonathan Nicholls, an expert in pest control, said the insects were attracted to any space where there's food, adding they're more likely to invade in the warmer months as people eat outdoors and leave doors and windows open.
