Expert warns of dangerous TikTok trend that could make dogs aggressive and bite

Many TikTok challenges can be fun and harmless, but some can be extremely dangerous and should be avoided at all costs. Animal behaviourists are expressing their concerns over the 'bark at your dog' challenge, which involves TikTokers getting up close to their pets and barking in their faces.

All dogs react differently to the challenge, with some barking back, others hiding behind objects and even baring their teeth. One viral video shared by @adrianchateau has even gained more than 242 millions views. With 159 million tags, it's safe to say the #barkatyourdog trend is incredibly popular - but animal behaviourist Katie Scott-Dyer doesn't think it should be.
