
The battle against HIV will need to be stepped up if London is to meet its goal of ending new transmissions by the end of the decade, one of the UK’s top public health experts has warned.
Professor Kevin Fenton, who serves as Sir Sadiq Khan’s statutory health advisor, told the London Assembly that testing for the virus will “require strengthening and scaling [up]”.
