A personal finance journalist has shared a clever money-saving hack that they say could save you £70 on energy bills. Sophie Smith, whose TikTok video explaining the hack gained more than half a million views, claims that people can slash their energy bill in just one minute.
She said: "Turn your boiler's flow temperature down to 50C heating and 55C water. The settings for most boilers is too high. This simple step could save you money and your home will feel just as warm."
Other TikTok users responded, saying they have used the trick and saved even more than £70, reports The Mirror.
