RAJKOT: India were left with just 13 players after a viral infection and personal issues left the team depleted ahead of the third and final ODI against Australia - the team's last ODI before the World Cup begins - but head coach Rahul Dravid said a "full-strength side" should be available for the warm-up match against England later this week.
"We have had a few issues, with (a) viral (infection) going around the group. It was a bit of a balancing act. Some had to go home due to personal reasons. There was a team leaving for the Asian Games," Dravid said after India's 66-run defeat.
"We have got about a week. I expect everyone to be there in Guwahati when we reach. We should be full strength. The bug around the group should have cleared up as well," said the coach.
India launch their campaign against Australia on October 8 in Chennai.
Dravid said he was relieved that some key players like Jasprit Bumrah, KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer, who are all coming back from injuries, managed to get some game time.
