The 2 Johnnies are heading to the UK with their show for the first time.
The comedy duo podcasters turned RTE 2fm presenters announced they are heading to London to headline Brixton Academy on March 16.
In the announcement, organisers said fans can expect 'the usual music and mayhem' as the lads will perform their hit singles with the help of the Junior B All Stars.
Noel Furlong will be making an appearance as well as producer Maura, Neil the intern and some very special guests.
Commenting on the news, Johnny B said: “We plan to knock down every door and taboo with no topic too big or small when we bring the show to the people of London.
"Expect comedy, music, audience interaction, this gig has it all – expect a culture shock!”.
The 2 Johnnies Podcast has become the one of the most listened to podcasts in the country with over 500k listeners per week and over 41 million downloads.
On this week’s 2 Johnnies podcast, Johnny Smacks and Johnny B, who went viral this year with their 'Cora the Catfish' story, explore the world of “deep fakes”.
The duo speak to synthetic media expert Henry Adjer about the potential power of deep fake videos.
Henry explains how the term evolved from fake images of women being uploaded to porn sites. He says that technology around AI and VFX are continuing to advance making deep fakes even more realistic.
The duo, real names John O'Brien and John McMahon, also discuss the controversy over Bruce Willis’ image being used in a deep fake ad for a Russian telecoms company and ask if deep fake technology could lead to next-level catfishing.
