With a new year, Abhishek Malik rang in 2025 with the same enthusiasm. The actor got candid about his resolution for the New Year and shared how he plans to keep up with his plans this year.
Abhishek Malik, who essays the role of Neel in Jamai No. 1 said, "Traveling alone to a place, is thrilling and intimidating to me in equal measure. It has been on my list for years, but life always seems to intervene. Every January, it’s at the top of my goals, but by December, I see it still untouched. Work deadlines, family duties, and the fear of stepping into the unknown often hold me back. It’s not that I don’t long for it, I do."
He further added, "The idea of wandering through unfamiliar streets, meeting strangers who quickly feel like friends, and immersing myself in a culture I don't fully grasp excites me. But the promise remains unfulfilled, like a resolution I keep postponing, waiting for the perfect moment. One day, I’ll book that ticket and make it happen. Until then, the dream pushes me forward."
Abhishek also spoke about his bond with the cast, "The cast is amazing, and I bond really well with Simaran Kaur and Papia Sengupta, as most of my scenes are with them,” he shares. “The vibe on set is so positive. Everyone is putting their heart and soul into making this show a success. We’re hopeful it will resonate with viewers and become a hit, delivering great TRPs."
