Dancer turned actor Faisal Khan was in Lucknow for the promotion of his new show Dharm Yoddha Garud, said he has been to the city just once or twice. “I am here for the second time. I’ve heard so much about the city but unfortunately did not get the time to see it. On one occasion I was in Lucknow for the promotion of my show Jhalak Dikh La Jaa and at that time I remember going to Tunday Kababi in a very crowded lane,” said Faisal.
Faisal started as a dancer at a very young age and soon became an actor. “I had a simple life and did not have such high dreams. I was always fond of dancing and joined dance classes. I didn’t dream of becoming an actor but the opportunity came suddenly and now it feels like how it had to happen. I dreamt of becoming a choreographer and when I started acting, people loved my work which made me more confident. Acting came organically to me and it feels amazing when I think about how this happened, " says the Chandragupta Maurya actor, who is also trying his hands at singing. “I have recently started my singing journey as well as I had a habit of musing for a long time. I have started singing a few cover songs along with that I also love to rap. I’ve been writing a few songs and I want to start my singing journey just like my acting career.”
