With work well underway for a brand new Aldi off Colwick Loop Road, residents living at a housing development on the same site have said they can't wait for the new store to open. The new branch of the budget supermarket is being built on Teal Park and the steel shell of the structure is taking shape.
It's being built at the top of the Rivendell housing estate, situated on land between Netherfield and Burton Joyce, with the latest update revealing earlier in the year at least 220 of the 830 expected houses at that site have already been built. And residents who have already moved into their homes on Magenta Way on the estate can't wait to see the store open.
