The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain for Glasgow and the surrounding areas through Tuesday, January 9.
Heavy downpours are expected heavy and consistent leading to disruption around the city. Forecasters predict flooding throughout, with trouble on the roads expected as downpours continue throughout the day.
Persistent rain will see up to 25mm of water fall across Glasgow, with up to 35mm on higher grounds. The wet weather will be accompanied by increasing gusty winds throughout Tuesday, with the rain continuing into the evening.

Temperatures continue to be mild for this time of year, with highs of 10C and lows of 6C throughout Tuesday.
