Edinburgh is to get a flypast on Wednesday from the legendary Red Arrows to mark the first visit to the city by King Charles III.
The flyover by the famous fighter jets is part of the ceremony, which will take place 2.15pm at St Giles' Cathedral. This will be a Service of Thanksgiving and Dedication which will include longstanding royal traditions in Scotland following King Charles III's coronation in May.
People will be able to observe the Royal Air Force aerobatic teams' manoeuvres at 3.40 pm on July 5, concluding the visit by Charles and Camilla.

'The Reds' as they are known will fly over the Royal Mile with the whole of the ceremony along with the flypast being able to watch on BBC 1 Scotland from 1.30 pm.
