Ex-UFC star Paige VanZant issues X-rated response to fat-shaming trolls

Paige VanZant has slammed a group of fat-shaming trolls in a furious X-rated rant on social media after she showed off her physique.

Former UFC star VanZant has had an extensive career in the fighting world where she built up her name, and has even appeared in both All-Elite Wrestling and Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. She has been out of action for several months now with her fighting future in doubt, after her previous scheduled BKFC bout was cancelled after she was set to return following consecutive defeats.

Despite being yet to resolve her future in the fighting world, VanZant has been keeping her followers update with daily updates about her life with husband Austin Vanderford. However the 29-year-old has received some vile comments on videos from trolls who have been attacking her over her physique in recent weeks.

But she has refused to be brought down by online haters and has explained how gaining some weight has helped her feel happier. She posted a video of herself flexing in front of a mirror on Instagram, with the caption: "Dear haters, I f***ed up! I have been really good at putting my best self forward. Making sure the world sees the 'prettiest' side of me. Where I fell short is that I never showed the true me.

"Until now. The truth is, yes, I have gained a lot of weight, probably 20+ pounds but I also gained strength, power, muscle and a f**k ton of happiness. I see every single comment on my YouTube channel about how I look pregnant, obese, fat as f**k, and won’t be able to fit through a door soon.

"But one thing I have always remembered. Happy people ain’t haters and haters ain’t happy. So all you haters out there keep on commenting, you’re only growing my platform. And I promise from this day forward to show the real me, forever. The fat me, the broken me, the skinny me, and the happiest f***ing version of me I have ever been.

"Social media will never be real but I’ll try and be better. Anyway, check out my YouTube channel. Because I’ll be damned if I don’t continue to profit off of THE BEST HATERS IN THE WORLD. Yours in thickness - PVZ. Yes: all these were taken the exact same time and unedited. Social media is a lie."

VanZant has a huge following of 3.2million across her social media pages, and has built up a community of fans that have jumped to her immediate defence in comments sections. It remains unclear exactly what her immediate plans are for getting back in the boxing ring, but she continues to be adored by a growing group of followers.
