During the trial, defense attorney Emil Bove questioned ex-tabloid publisher David Pecker regarding his interactions with the FBI in connection to a federal investigation into payments made to Karen McDougal and Stormy Daniels.
Pecker revealed that the FBI first approached him in April 2018, conducting a search of his phone at his residence. While he could not recall the exact number of subsequent meetings with the FBI, he confirmed at least one such meeting took place.
