Former Scarlets star Uzair Cassiem has shared an emotional moment on social media as his parents watched him play rugby for the first time in five years.
The South Africa international now plies his trade in France with Bayonne, after spending three years in Llanelli between 2018 and 2021.
The 33-year-old posted a video on Twitter over the weekend, with the caption: "P.O.V: the first time in 5 years that my parents are able to watch me play. Thank you all for making this moment magical for us."
The clip shows Cassiem's father walking out onto the field waving two Bayonne flags, before embracing his son. Mum isn't too far behind either, and she's the next one up for a hug. The back-rower puts both arms around his parents as the crowd cheer for them in a heartwarming moment.
It was a successful day for Bayonne too, as they defeated Clermont Auvergne 21-18 to cap off a perfect day for Cassiem and family.
