Scots influencer Jilly Cross had a bit of a holiday headache as she jetted off to Mykonos as a delayed flight meant it took her 24 hours to get to her final destination.
But it wasn't quite plain sailing even after she landed as Jilly's suitcase containing all her belongings didn't make it to Mykonos, leaving her having to fork out for new clothes and underwear. The fashion influencer took to Instagram to update her followers and expressed her upset that she was now without fake tan.
The 27-year-old had to rush out and buy clothes, and joked that she would be sending cocktail receipts to the airline to be reimbursed for 'emotional damage'. Alongside a video of her sipping a cocktail and smoking shisha, Jilly wrote: "Me saving receipts from my shisha and picante to send straight to Air France to reimburse for emotional damages. I have no fake tan? That's ptsd for a ginger person."
She also shared a snap of her in her makeshift outfit, tagged the different airlines she travelled with and wrote: "This look is sponsored by whichever airline lost my suitcase. Cheers for the money @airfrance @british_airways @aegeanairlines @iberia."
And many of Jilly's pals flocked to the comments to say she still looked incredible. One wrote: "Aw babe you still look amazing." Another added: "Didn’t even need a suitcase." While one said: "not u having a mare and still looking like that. no bother u." While one added: "Making it look glamorous!!"
But in a recent update, Jilly told fans that her and her pals suitcases were due to arrive today. She wrote: "our cases are coming today hwfg."
The influencer, who is known on Instagram as Jilly Isabella, recently got engaged to Hearts' footballer Andy Halliday. Andy got down on one knee when the pair were holidaying in Mexico.
On her YouTube channel, Jilly revealed that she did not have an engagement ring yet as she was designing it herself.
