Watford look set to sign Luis Palma, according to a report.
Rangers had targeted the Honduras international earlier this summer, but a deal could not be reached.
Now, the Hornets have swooped in to sign the Aris Thessaloniki winger.
The Daily Mail reports that the 23-year-old will join the London club on an initial loan, before making the transfer permanent next year.
A loan fee of £850,000 will be paid to the Greek club this summer, with Aris then receiving £4.5million from Watford next summer.
The report also claims that Palma had attracted interest from some big European names such as Anderlecht, with Manchester United even scouting the attacker.
Palma has 13 goals in 35 games to his name for Aris, with his impressive performances earning him plenty of suitors.
It's said Rangers did hold talks with Aris and the player about a potential move to Ibrox, however, a deal failed to materialise for the six-time capped Honduras international.
Meanwhile, Ben Williamson could be set for a summer loan move to Partick Thistle.
The Rangers youngster spent the last campaign on loan at Dundee and impressed before returning to Ibrox for pre-season this term.
Williamson is currently in Germany with the Rangers squad but The Sun say he will likely hook up with Kris Doolan's Jags upon his return for the campaign.
Thistle are aiming to bolster their midfield options after already losing the likes of Ross Docherty, Kyle Turner, Kevin Holt and Scott Tiffoney all moving on this summer.
