An ex-Rangers forward has outlined how difficult it is to play against an Ange Postecoglou side, ahead of the Australian's return to Glasgow this evening.
Tottenham Hotspur take on Rangers at Ibrox in the UEFA Europa League and the former Celtic manager – and current Spurs manager – is keen to return to London with three points in the bag.
Despite criticism levied at Postecoglou and his style of play in recent weeks down south, former Rangers and Spurs forward Jermaine Defoe has explained what it's like to play against his side.
Defoe told Sky Sports (via 67HailHail): "When you look back at last season and the first ten games, all the Tottenham fans were like 'this is unbelievable to watch'.
"I played against Ange’s Celtic team. Everything was about quick restarts, the energy and like I was talking about the fullbacks. They create a lot of chances and score a lot of goals."

Defoe then suggested Postecoglou could do more to adapt in the moment during games – something that the former Celtic manager has always vehemently stood against.
Defoe added: "It’s just the other side of it. I wouldn’t say it’s the manager going against his principles. I just think sometimes you have to be able to adapt. I’m not saying he can’t adapt.
"But it’s just that the state of the game changes. The environment. There were times where there was nothing wrong with getting back into a low block and seeing the game out."
