Robbie Ure has explained why he had his full name on the back of his strip on his Scotland debut.
The former Rangers kid earned his first cap in the Slovenia draw, starting up front alongside Oli McBurnie as his career continues to rise following his £9million move to Sevilla from Swedish side Sirius.
Fans were puzzled to see that he had his first name and surname on the back of his top, rather than the tradition of having just the latter.
And his explanation revealed there was no deep meaning to it.
“I’ve been asked that from about ten people already," he told BBC Sport.

“I just think people always call me ‘Robbie Ure’, they wouldn’t just say ‘Ure’. So yeah, that was a reason.
“And then to be honest, I think U-R-E is so small. I just don’t like it really!
“So I was like, ‘I’m going to put my first name in as well’.
“I’ve got it at club level as well and I prefer it. I’m proud of my surname but I just prefer having Robbie on the shirt.”
