Former Rangers defender Bruno Alves has been appointed assistant manager of Portugal.
The 96-times-capped centre-back had an underwhelming season at Ibrox in 2017 at the age of 35 before his contract was terminated by mutual consent.
He was signed by Portuguese countryman Pedro Caixinha and made 17 starts in the Premiership.
Alves continued to play on until he was 40 and ended his career at Greek top flight team Apollon Smyrnis, before he became sports director at AEK Athens.
He then returned to his homeland to take the same role with Rio Ave.

And he's been headhunted by new Portugal boss Jorge Jesus to assist him and join his coaching staff after he took over from Roberto Martinez after a disappointing World Cup.
The Portuguese Football Federation said: "We are delighted to announce that Bruno Alves will join Jorge Jesus' coaching staff.
"His arrival reinforces the presence of former internationals within the coaching team."
Alves also played for a host of clubs including Porto, Parma, Cagliari, Fenerbahce and Zenit St Petersburg.
