Ex-Playmate says Hugh Hefner made her drug mule and 'sucked the life out of girls'

A former Playboy Playmate has claimed the late Hugh Hefner forced her to be a drug mule.

Sondra Theordore has spoken about the porn impresario's alleged drug use in a new A&E docuseries, Secrets for Playboy.

She claimed Hefner, who she dated from 1976 to 1981, made her buy drugs for him as if she was picking up milk.

"How many times did I pick up drugs for Hef? I don't know, countless. Countless times," Sondra claimed in the show.

"I've never told anyone any of this before. I was too ashamed for a lot of reasons. But I was a drug mule for Hef.

"It was nothing to him. It was like sending me out for a quart of milk. But if I got caught, my life would be over."

Hefner died at the Playboy Mansion on September 27, 2017, at the age of 91.

Sondra has argued that if the adult entertainment magnate was alive now, he would be behind bars.

She has previously suggested that he groomed her from the age of 19 and that if she had been caught with drugs, he would not have come to her aid.

In the docuseries Sondra said Hefner would continuously sleep with other women during their relationship, and that he had a habit of turning the issue around on her.

"He said, 'Do you think that they can just stay in my house and not sleep with me?'" she explained.

"Would you have dinner guests and expect that of them? No. It was just so cold and callous and not the man that I've fallen in love with. I didn't know who this man was."

The 10-part docuseries has just released its fourth episode and delves into the "hidden truths behind the fable and philosophy of the Playboy empire through a modern-day lens."

The shows creators promise that it will unravel "the glamorous mythology created by the brand over several decades, the series features archival footage and exclusive interviews with insiders from all facets of the Playboy world".

Sondra said she tried to leave him many times but was reeled back in with his charm.

Decades later she considers him a 'vampire' and that he "sucked the life out of girls for decades."

"You couldn't satisfy him. He wanted more and more and more," she recalled.

"The group sex was at least five nights a week.

"They had a protocol. He liked to direct and you didn't segue away from it because you could tell it irritated him.

"It just got ugly, I felt like I was a ringmaster, I had to put the same show on every night."

In a previous episode Lisa Loving Barrett, his executive assistant during the late 1970s and '80s, said cocaine was a 'big deal' in the Playboy Mansion.

She claimed there was a powder room off the great hall and that a pile of cocaine was hidden under a toilet roll holder.

Sondra said one of Hefner's dogs got addicted to the drug by licking it off the floor.

Former Playboy Bunnies Karissa and Kristina Shannon recently revealed grim details of Hefner's bedtime ritual.

The blonde twins stayed in the Playboy mansion in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles, for two years, after being recruited to live with the tycoon when he saw pictures of a glamour shoot they had done.

Karissa and Kristina were flown from Florida to LA, moving in with Hefner and his girlfriends - including Kendra Wilkinson - and being given $1,000 a week to star on the hit reality show Girls Next Door, which documented the lives of the women living in the $100 million mansion.

They told the Daily Mirror it was worlds away from what they originally thought they would be signing up to.

Kristina said they were regularly given drugs as part of Hefner’s bizarre bedtime routine, before they were forced into having group sex with the pensioner and a gaggle of other women.

Karissa said they were told the drugs - including weed and quaaludes - would help them feel more comfortable.

“He pulled out silk pyjamas from Italy and we put them on. He pulled out this big pill like the type a horse would take. It was quaalude, which we found out he used all the time,” Kristina said of their first experience in the tycoon’s bedroom.

“He told us the drugs would help with our anxiety. We smoked some pot. We felt frozen at first but after a while the pill made us loose and fuzzy,” Karissa said, as she confessed he would touch them while they were under the influence.

“He kept saying, ‘My babies, my babies,’ and cradling us as we lay either side of him. He told us to call him ‘Papa’,” she added, calling him “the devil” for what he had done to them.
