Former New England Patriots offensive tackle Isaiah Wynn has reportedly signed a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news on Sunday.
Wynn, a former first-round draft pick, had a turbulent run with the Patriots. Injuries were the biggest issue considering he only played in more than 10 games once in a season in the entirety of his four-year run with the team.
There were flashes of serious talent on the football field, but he was never around enough to stay in sync with the rest of the offensive line. Things really unraveled in 2022 with penalties becoming the norm, along with pass blocking struggles.

Wynn tweeted back in March that teams needed to be in the $5 million range to even talk to him about signing a deal.
Now, he joins the Dolphins on what seems to be a prove-it deal in an effort to cash in on an even bigger contract down the line. He won’t have to wait long to face his former Patriots teammates in Foxboro with the Dolphins slated for a Week 2 visit in 2023.
