Former Newcastle United manager Graeme Souness has left his role at Sky Sports after serving as a regular pundit for over 15 years.
Sky Sports presenter Kelly Cates announced the news live on air following Liverpool's 4-3 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon.
An emotional Souness held back tears before a montage of his best clips from over the years was shown. He then received a round of applause from the Sky Sports panel, which included Cates, Robbie Keane and Jamie Redknapp.

“But in Sky’s hands it’s in good hands, safe hands, and I think over the years we’ve created a Premier League with great detail and I think we look after football very well.”
