A former fashion model has told users on Reddit that chasing beauty standards cost her at least $50,000 (£37,000) in surgery and 20 years of anorexia, and that it was not worth it.
The woman, who gives her age as 36, said she worked commercial and runway jobs through her 20s. Most of the work was commercial, she added, with runway only once or twice.
