Yorke sees benefit of quick club sale
Former Manchester United striker Dwight Yorke has urged the Glazers to sell the club quickly to allow Erik ten Hag to complete his business in the summer transfer window.
United's American owners announced in November they were seeking strategic alternatives, with a complete sale of the club a possibility. Progress has been limited since then with Ten Hag admitting at the end of the campaign he was unsure of his budget due to the takeover.
On Wednesday it was officially announced that the Reds had signed Mason Mount from Chelsea for £55m plus add-ons. Reports soon circulated suggesting Ten Hag would need to wait for the takeover to be completed before making further signings. The Dutchman wants a new striker and a new goalkeeper ahead of the new season.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe told The Sun he is still in the hunt to buy United from the Glazers despite reports suggesting Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani is in the driving seat to complete the purchase. Speaking to MEN Sport, Yorke reiterated his stance on the current ownership and urged them to sell quickly to help the United boss.
Saha explains what Mount will bring
Former United striker Louis Saha backed Mount to be a roaring success at Old Trafford - but has warned him that he will not automatically secure a spot in Erik ten Hag's first-choice starting line-up.
Mount strengthens Ten Hag's pool of midfield options, adding quality, experience and no shortage of versatility. His qualities both with and without the ball are believed to be what attracted the Dutchman to his signature.
The former Chelsea ace, who is capable of operating as either a No.8 or as a No.10, will hopefully increase United's attacking output from the engine room, in terms of both goals and assists. For Saha, Mount has the potential to unlock United's attackers and get even more out of them.
