A man has been charged with the brutal murder of a mum who was found dead stuffed into a bag at the side of the road.
Orsolya Gaal's handyman and ex-lover David Bonola has been charged with her murder, and reports say the 44-year-old made a full confession after their arrest.
Ms Gaal, who was 51, had gone out to see a show with friends, then returned to her neighbourhood in Queens, New York, in the US, and visited a bar there.
Once she arrived home she was stabbed almost 60 times and then stashed in a black Bauer hockey bag similar to one belonging to her children.
New York Police confirmed Bonola was taken into custody and charged with murder, criminal tampering and criminal possession of a weapon.
He was arrested after police found a pair of blood-soaked boots left at Ms Gaal’s stately Forest Hills home.
Bonola, from Richmond Hill, has no previous arrests, according to officers.
Grainy video from a neighbour's doorbell camera caught a mysterious figure lugging the bloody bag away from the Gaal home around 4.30am.
A local resident walking his dog found the remains about four hours later by the side of the road.
Sources say police quickly suspected that the killer knew Ms Gaal as there were no signs of a break-in at her home.
They believe Bonola and Ms Gaal had a romantic relationship but they had broke up.
Bonola confessed that he hit out after an argument, police sources said.
