Ex-Liverpool star gives verdict on 'smart' teammate Charles De Ketelaere amid Leeds United links

Simon Mignolet has spoken on the future of Leeds United transfer target Charles De Ketelaere. Former Liverpool and Sunderland goalkeeper Mignolet has been a team-mate of De Ketelaere's for the last three years at Club Brugge.

The 21-year-old striker has been linked with a move to Leeds this summer, although AC Milan are also interested, and it's understood that a move to the Italian giants is the Belgian's preferred option.

De Ketelaere's destination is still not certain, but he is nearing an exit from Club Brugge after being left out of their squad for a friendly against FC Kovenhavn on Saturday. The highly-rated forward scored 14 goals and racked up seven assists in 33 matches in the Jupiler Pro League last season.
