Recently released Lions cornerback Cameron Sutton has turned himself in to authorities in Florida for an arrest warrant that led to his release from the team.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office released a video of Sutton entering their facility and turning himself in. Sutton was wanted on a charge of domestic battery by strangulation stemming from an incident on March 7 with a woman at a home in the community north of Tampa.

The Lions released Sutton shortly after it was discovered that he was wanted on a domestic assault charge and had fled the scene of the alleged incident. He had been at large for almost three weeks, and there were concerns about Sutton’s safety and well-being.
