Former Leeds United defender Tony Dorigo has claimed the Whites 'got what they deserved' after their surprise 2-1 win over Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday.
Dorigo made 189 appearances for Leeds in all competitions from 1991 to 1997 as a full-back, scoring five times and finding one assist and was part of the 91/92 side that won the final First Division title.
Rodrigo opened the scoring for Leeds after just four minutes when a poor back-pass from Joe Gomez saw him through on goal with an open net.

Despite Mohamed Salah's equaliser just before halftime, Leeds defended incredibly well and held back long enough for Patrick Bamford's flick to find Crysencio Summerville in the box who slotted it past Alisson to take all three points back to Elland Road.
Speaking with LUFC TV after the match, Dorigo was delighted with the Whites' performances and highlighted the defensive effort Leeds made.
"What a result, what an incredible performance and finally we got what we deserved. Coming here, you had to make sure you made no mistakes, you had to be brave as well and attack Liverpool and play for the full 90 minutes.
"We've seen, this season, some really good performances against good side but not for 90 minutes - Chelsea is the only exception. But we were superb tonight.
"In the first half, not only could we have had one, we could've had two, three, maybe even four, and in the second half, we knew we were going to have to defend. We knew we'd have to defend for long periods but we did it really well - organised, showed great spirit and we could've had another on top of Crysencio's goal!"
Dorigo continued to praise the side's attacking presence, arguing that while Liverpool certainly are a better side, it's their defensive capabilities that the Whites were able to exploit.
"After the run that we've had, it's been difficult. Clearly, the confidence of the boys is bound to a little low but if you come out to a place like Anfield and put in a performance like that, that must give them a great belief going forward.
"We just looked so hungry, so ready for the game, and we put Liverpool under pressure, and as we said, their defence is probably the only fallible part of their team and we saw that for our first goal but we also made chances for ourselves.
"We defended manfully, [Illan] Meslier had a wonderful game, Robin Koch- everyone had a brilliant game and did their job."
Dorigo highlighted Summerville's impact on the side over the course of the season and reaffirmed his belief that Leeds were the deserved winners.
"I think with Crysencio Summerville, we've seen little cameos of him before and we know he's got great ability and he's a young player as well but for him to come on and play like that, it was impressive.
"I don't really want to pick out single players though because I do think this is all about the subs that came on, the management, the coaches, all the players, it was a great, great effort. We've finally got what we deserved - we've beaten Liverpool at Anfield!"
