A former hotel manager has taken to TikTok to share some of the industries stomach turning secrets.
Holiday makers are always overjoyed when they get travel home with a few freebies in their case.
However, ex-hotel boss Melissa Hanks has revealed which items should be avoided in a viral video posted on to the social media platform.
She shared her first hand experience from what she found left behind by some gross guests, reports the Mirror.

Melissa states in the video: “As a former hotel manager and an avid coffee drinker I will never use the coffee machine in a hotel room.”
The former manager revealed that the filters are rarely cleaned and some people use it to brew things other than coffee. During her time in the hospitality industry she has seen bodily fluids in some shampoo and conditioner bottles.
The video has racked up 1.7 million views and received thousands of comments from baffled holidaymakers.
One commenter wrote: "I just used the refillable shampoo yesterday, and now I'm freaked out.”
Another added: “Why did I have to see this while I'm staying in the hotel?
“I will never use anything in a room again.”
Melissa suggested people should consider asking for new toiletries which have not yet been opened before they arrive for their stay.
