An infamous football hooligan who has travelled to Ukraine to join its armed forces in the fight against Russia has urged Edinburgh women to 'form an orderly queue' ahead of his return home.
Earlier this month, Robert Grady, 61, posted a recruitment video wielding an assault rifle alongside his new comrades and pleaded for more volunteers to enlist.
The reformed Hibs casual, known as Rab, posted on Facebook from the frontline telling followers: “I intend to kill as many as I can.”
Now the Edinburgh grandad appears to believe his exploits in the foreign legion will have local ladies lining up for a date when he returns to the capital.
On Wednesday, Rab posted on Facebook saying: "looking for a partner" - and shortly after, he uploaded a video urging woman to prepare for his arrival back to the city.
He said: "Women of Edinburgh, I would like you to form an orderly queue.
"I’ll be back soon and I expect everybody to stand in a line, no fighting, no scratching, no biting.
"I’ll let you know the criteria nearer the time. Have a lovely evening girls. Take care."
Rab built up a reputation as a notorious hooligan linked to Hibs from the early 1980s.
He was a member of the casual gang the Capital City Service (CCS) and received a football banning order as recently as 2014 for taking part in a street brawl after a cup final.
On March 8, Rab - who was thought to be in Kyiv - donned a camouflage body armour and held an assault weapon in a 30-second video.
In the video with him were two other armed men, believed to be Ukrainian fighters.
In the video, he said: "My name is Rob. I’m a 61-year-old grandfather from Scotland.
“I’ve travelled to Ukraine to help Ukraine fight the Russians.
“I’ll do anything I can in my power to save Ukraine from Putin.
“Everybody in the world please help Ukraine. They need everybody to help, Volunteers, please.”
