Miller played defensive end for the Gamecocks from 1987-90, and was named an All-South Independent selection as a defensive end in 1989 and 1990. The Giants converted Miller to linebacker under head coaches Ray Handley and Dan Reeves.

The Giants acknowledged Miller’s achievement on social media this week.

In 110 career games (72 starts), Miller recorded 252 tackles, six forced fumbles, 14.0 sacks, two passes defensed and seven interceptions.
