A former Emmerdale star is eyeing a potential return to the ITV soap.
Sandra Marvin played Jessie Dingle in Emmerdale between 2017 and 2019. Over her time in the soap she was involved in a number of major storylines.
Since her exit Sandra has appeared in some big theatre productions and she’s currently on the road playing Deloris van Cartier in Sister Act. She has spoken to RSVP Live about one day possibly returning to Emmerdale.

We know a number of old favourites are returning to Emmerdale as part of the show’s 50th anniversary. There will be a month of storylines celebrating Emmerdale’s history during October’s milestone.
She said: “It’s really funny, actually. I know where my pathway is on at the moment, but when people are at the stage door, they’ll fill me in on what’s been happening — like, ‘oh, that Marlon, I think he’s off with that Rhona’. They all give me updates on what’s been happening. I think it’s so sweet.
“The response that I get from people, when they come to the show and tell me about it afterwards — it’s great. You never say never, but at the moment I’m quite happy being Deloris."
